Thanks for stepping in at last minute
I am writing in order to thank, via your newspaper, the staff who were working at Rush Hair and Beauty on the evening of Tuesday, August 6.
I was due to shave my hair for Macmillan’s Brave the Shave appeal, but unfortunately my hairdresser fell ill at the last minute.
I phoned Rush in desperation, as they were one of the few hairdressers who were still open at 7.30pm, and Lewis very kindly offered to cut and shave my hair immediately.
He and the other staff were so lovely and supportive, they made what was almost a disaster into a great experience.
He took great care with the cut and shave, and also gave his time for free. I can’t thank him enough.
