Thank you for help with car

To two good samaritans who came to my rescue when I broke down in the outside lane of the Upper Brighton Road near Lancing Leisure Centre last Saturday, a huge thank you for stopping to help me.

I was cruising along quite happily in the outside lane approaching the roundabout before Lancing Leisure Centre on Saturday at around midday, when I heard a ‘beep’ and soon realised that the engine had cut out and I was coming to a complete standstill – with heavy traffic behind me.

After putting the hazard lights on, I tried several times to restart the engine without success.

By the time two kind young men came to help me, I had got through to the RAC but was causing a huge tailback.

They helped me get my car into a side road and I am really grateful to them both, as I was beginning to panic!

Thanks again and sorry I didn’t get your details.

From a very grateful

Louise Flude
