How about a sculpture east of Worthing Pavilion?

I read Paul O'Brien's column with interest this week as the parking on our prom has long irked me.

In my opinion there is no reason for anyone to park in the area to the east of Worthing’s Pavilion.

I understand that deliveries have to be made but could a ‘delivery and drop off’ area not be created on the main road? There is certainly space for this.

The area which is now essentially a de facto car park could be used to further brighten up the seafront with more community planting, or something a bit more ambitious along the lines of the beach sculptures that ECE Architects created over the past two summers, to much acclaim. Now that would be something to be proud of. A car park ain’t!
