A LITTLEHAMPTON attacker punched another man in front of a police officer, saying: “I’ve been pushed far enough.”

Philip Hsitou, 41, of Greenfields, Littlehampton, admitted using threatening behaviour at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 28).

The court heard police officers were talking to two men in Beaconsfield Road when Hsitou approached.

“He removed his front false teeth and used words to the effect of ‘come on let’s have it’ and then punched ones of the males,” said prosecutor Jane Deakin.

The court heard Hsitou then said to the officers: “I know it was stupid to hit him in front of you lot but I’ve been pushed far enough by him.”

Hsitou apologised to the court, saying he was going a bad period of his life after his marriage of 18 years had ended.

He was fined £75, and also ordered to pay other court costs that brought the total to £330.
