LIFEBOAT crews from Littlehampton were called upon three times over the weekend.
The teams helped to rescue three leisure vessels that had all broken down.
The first call came at 9.17am on Saturday (August 8). They helped a stranded jet skier whose craft had broken.
Yesterday (Sunday, July 9) crews were called twice in the space of an hour.
Their first shout came at 1.52pm. Crews were asked by the coastguard to help a sports craft that had suffered damage to its propeller. They rescued four people, including a child.
Then, at 2.52pm, an RNLI team was needed once more, this time to tow a broken down fishing boat, that was one and a half miles away from Littlehampton, back to the town’s harbour.
