Littlehampton grant aid scheme launched again

GOOD causes across the Littlehampton area could have their coffers boosted by a council-run grant scheme.

Littlehampton Town Council is seeking out new organisations to apply for its popular grant aid fund.

Applications opened yesterday and can be made by any charitable or not-for-profit club, group or organisation that helps the town’s community.

Each submission is assessed on the basis of its merits, aims and objectives.

A council spokeswoman said: “Anyone involved with a group or organisation that meets the criteria and that would welcome financial support towards venue hire, running costs, equipment or any other purchases that would enhance existing services, should submit an application form in good time.”

The closing date is May 15. Application forms are available to download from the town council’s website or from Manor House, in Church Street. Successful applicants will be notified by early July.
