FIRE and ice will be the focus of the Littlehampton Museum’s fourth open art exhibition.

Artists from across Sussex are this week being called to dust off their easels and focus their cameras to take part in the contest.

The event is open to all ages and abilities and gives a chance for artists, crafters, embroiderers and sculptors of all types to display their work.

The competition is free to join and selected entries will be displayed in a special exhibition at the museum later this year.

Up to three entries can be submitted by each person. There is plenty of time to complete the work, with items needing to be handed in between September 5 and 11.

Councillor Malcolm Belchamber said he was ‘delighted’ to announce the launch the event and that previous years had ‘showcased some wonderful artists’.
