Surrey Police is appealing for help to locate a wanted man with links to the Chichester and Guildford areas.
Police said Joseph Brazil, 20, failed to appear at magistrates court to answer charges relating to various offences including impersonating a police officer and assaulting police.
Surrey Police said in a statement: “Surrey Police is still appealing for help from members of the public to locate this 20-year-old man who is wanted on warrant after failing to appear at courts in Guildford.
“Joseph Brazil was due to appear at South West Surrey Magistrates Court on 24 September and Guildford Crown Court on 25 September to answer charges relating to various offences including impersonating a police officer, assaulting police, attempted theft of a vehicle, handling stolen goods and public order offences.
“Brazil, of no fixed abode, has links to the Guildford, Woking and Chichester areas.
“Despite various enquiries to trace Brazil, officers have been unable to locate him and are asking anyone with information to contact them.” Members of the public are advised not to approach Brazil but to call 999.
