A Sussex school has been severely damaged after a suspected arson in the early hours of this morning (October 12).
More than 60 firefighters have spent the night tackling the blaze at Shinewater Primary School in Eastbourne.
Police believe the fire may have been started deliberately at around 1am.
There have been no reported injuries, but damage to the school buildings has been extensive.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Chief Inspector Emma Brice said, “We would like to speak with anyone who may have seen or heard something suspicious in the area.”
