Arun project to help vulnerable families given £315,000

The latest batch of recipients of money from the Big Lottery Fund includes Home-Start Arun.

The organisation has been awarded £315,000 to support vulnerable children and their families in the Arun area.

Through a combination of home visiting and group work, the project will respond to vulnerable families’ needs.

Supported families typically struggle with a range of complex needs, including family breakdown or domestic abuse, which can lead to isolation.

The project will help equip and empower parents who face these difficulties to manage well on their own, enabling them to give their children the best possible start in life, build their parenting skills and raise self-esteem.
