Wick Surgery will be hosting the pop-up vaccination clinic on Saturday, April 17, with pre-booked appointments available from 9.30am to 1pm and a drop-in session from 1pm to 3pm.

The clinic has been organised by the Local Vaccination Service for patients of Fitzalan Medical Group and the Coppice & Angmering Medical Centre.

The service is currently located at Angmering Community Centre, where vaccinations are given only by appointment.

Nichola Gasston, administrator at Fitzalan, said: “We have been doing all our vaccinations in Angmering but the rules for vaccinating clinics have now been relaxed, allowing us to create these pop-up walk-in sites.

“We realise that some of our community are unable to travel to Angmering and some find it difficult to make appointments. We want to make sure that all of our patients have the same opportunities and so have decided to try to bring the vaccine to the community.

“If this proves to be a success, we will be able to provide more services and more clinics in the local area.”
