Customers at Morrisons Littlehampton could win a trolley full of shopping in the store’s World Cancer Day raffle.

Alison Whitburn, community champion, is organising the raffle to raise money for CLIC Sargent.

First prize will be the trolley of shopping and second prize is a toy hamper.

Alison said: “It’s hard to fundraise at the moment with the pandemic but we are allowed to have a raffle.

“We couldn’t really do any major fundraising in December but we managed to raise just over £1,000 from selling homemade Christmas gifts that colleagues and their families made and masks that a colleague made.

“Thanks to them, and our customers for buying them! It was an amazing achievement.”

Raffle tickets are on sale now and the winners will be announced on World Cancer Day, Thursday, February 4, when colleagues will be wearing their CLIC Sargent t-shirts.
