SIX-A-SIDE organisers Soccersixes are encouraging fair play in their Worthing Leagues by adding incentives to teams who respect the referee throughout the season and play fairly.
Teams will be given a rating at the end of each game by the referee and all whose score at the end of the season is below 10 will not only be awarded with a fair play cup but also, as a massive incentive, be given five games free.

Managing directo
r of Soccersixes, Ross Spacey, commented: "We only like teams in our leagues who play fairly. We are encouraging it even more now with this new award.

"And we feel that by offering the fairest teams free games in the new season will really have an affect on the football. We do not allow any teams, anyway, in our leagues who are unsporting. But we want our leagues to be totally hassle-free for everyone. So this, we feel, will make teams play even more fairly."

The new fair play award comes just after the massive FA Respect campaign, which is focusing on players respecting referees. The respect issue has become a big thing in the game, say Soccersixes, and referees should be respected.

Teams who join the league, which is played on Sundays, will also be given a free kit by the organisers Soccersixes.

New teams wishing get a free kit when they join, and can contact soccersixes on 0845 300 8886 or on the new team enquiry line 0870 33 00 888 for an information pack.
