BOTH Shoreham lifeboats were launched to help search for a missing man seen wading out to sea at Worthing.
Police and coastguard officers searched the waterfront during the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, October 14).

With police and coastguard officers searching the waterfront, the Shoreham inshore lifeboat, supported by the offshore boat, searched the sea between Splash Point and Worthing Pier.

The search was called off by police shortly after 4.15am, after the missing man was found wandering in the Rowlands Road area of Worthing.
