It was released from the fence in Roegate Road, Worthing, at around 8pm on Friday, August 1, using small tools.

ARSONISTS set fire to a car in the cark park of Northbrook College in Littlehampton Road, Goring.

Fire crews put out the blaze using foam at around 4.30pm on Saturday.

Kitchen fire

A FLAT suffered smoke damage when a fire broke out in the kitchen of the property.

Fire crews were called to Church Walk, Worthing, just after 9.05pm on Saturday. After the flames were put out, a fan was used to ventilate the flat.

Petrol spillage

AROUND 40 litres of diesel fuel spilled on a petrol station forecourt had to be cleared up by firefighters.

Crews were called to the Tesco Express petrol station in Pulborough Road, Storrington, at around 6.30pm on Sunday.

The mess was soaked up using sand and firefighters left the scene at around 7.15pm.

Fire at water pumping station

THERE was a small fire at a disused water pumping station in Goring on Monday.

The blaze broke out in the pump room of the single storey building off Martlets Way at around 2.45pm.

Around 10 per cent of the building was damaged by the fire, which fire crews believe was started by arsonists.
