TWO giant Pyrenean mountain dogs were the star attraction at this year's RSPCA Christmas sale.
The event, at All Saints' Church in Findon Valley, raised £1,367 on the day with more money still expected to come.

Visitors were asked to take part in a competition to guess the combined age of the two dogs, which was 16 years and seven months.

Other activities on the day included a tombola, bric-a-brack stalls and stalls selling preserves, pet items and cakes.

Rosalind Hudson, honorary auxiliary secretary of the Sussex, Brighton and East Grinstead branch of the RSPCA, said: "Everybody had a lovely time and particularly enjoyed seeing the mountain dogs brought in by one of our members.

"We hope to better last year's amount of £1,410 and we're on track to do that."
