HISTORIAN Chris Hare is to give two illustrated talks on Worthing.
Chris will use his new book, Worthing: A History – Riot and Respectability in a Seaside Town, to highlight different areas of the town's past.
At Worthing Library lecture theatre on Friday, November 21, Chris will show previously unpublished photographs of Victorian and Edwardian Worthing.

The free talk will start at 6.30pm.

On Monday, November 24, at the Sidney Walter Centre in Suss
ex Road, he will talk to the Worthing History Research Group.

At the event, starting at 8pm, he will focus on how he chose the material to feature in his book.
