Published Date: 20 November 2008
A "SAFER Worthing" open day is being held on Saturday, November 22 at the Guildbourne shopping centre.
The event, from noon until 4pm, aims to encourage shoppers to talk to various groups, including Worthing police, the fire service and town centre wardens, about local issues.

The open day comes after the Worthing Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership reported that schemes, such as extra taxi marshals in Chapel Road and an anti-social behaviour project, had helped reduce crime in the town.
