Young talent on show at Arun Young Musician Festival

TALENTED young music makers will show off their skills this weekend.

The annual Arun Young Musician Festival will be held at Georgian Gardens Primary School, Guildford Road, Rustington, from 9.30am to 4.30pm on Saturday (March 10), and 10am to 3pm on Sunday (March 11).

Speaking on behalf of the organisers, Marilyn Dennis said: “Sponsored by Littlehampton Rotary Club, this popular festival provides a friendly environment for all our talented young participants, and our experienced adjudicators Ben Hall and Andrew Bernardi will provide positive and constructive commentary in recognition of each musician’s ability at all levels.

“As always, families, friends and members of the public are very welcome to come and listen to the performances over both days.”

This year, there will be five junior choirs, a senior choir and a junior school band, among other acts.

The best will be chosen to perform at a gala concert on March 21, at Windlesham House School, and have the chance of becoming Arun Young Musician of the Year.
