Jobsworths and bird tables! There are three things that British people have a reputation for. Perhaps it's what put the "great" in Britain!

Selfishness at the doctor's surgery EVERY week, dozens of people in every UK surgery make appointments at surgeries they don't bother keeping.

£225 fine for overfilling a wheelie bin: only in UK! I used my best mate Victor Meldrew's favourite saying "I don't believe it" when I heard that a local council had taken a taxpayer to court for over-filling his wheelie bin.

As the East gets richer we'll have to belt-tighten in West WE'RE living in worrying times. Not only are mortgages becoming more difficult to come by, banks are tightening up on general lending, too, and the amount we can borrow on credit cards is also being squeezed.
