Littlehampton Hockey Club found their best form on Saturday in their 8-0 win over Crowborough 2nd in Sussex League Division 2.

After an even opening 10 minutes when both sides had chances, excellent interplay between Jon Miles and Steve Pullen began to cause Crowborough all sorts of trouble.

Littlehampton won a hatful of short corners and created good openings for Luke Pannell, Colin Warner and Miles.

Goals flowed at regular intervals as Miles hit four, Pullen two and Pannell two, with other chances going begging.

Littlehampton, who have now scored 15 goals without reply in their last two games, remain fourth in the table and host third-placed Southwick on Saturday.

LITTLEHAMPTON: Newman, Thompson, Keeley, Lodge, Porter, Warner, Isaac, Pullen, Searle, J.Miles, Pannell, Phillips.
