EAST PRESTON Football Club conceded two goals in the final ten minutes as they were held to a draw at home to Loxwood on Tuesday.
EP had taken a two goal lead, thanks to strikes from Brad Curtis and Ben Gray.
However, two penalties from Mark Cave ensured the points were shared.
East Preston boss Sammy Donnelly said that conceding two late goals made the draw feel like a defeat.
He said: “All of the squad were a little bit down in the dressing room after the game.
“When you lead by two goals going into the last ten minutes of any game, you would expect to win it.
“It just goes to show how well we performed that we are disappointed to take a point off Loxwood.”
EP were two goals up at the break after Curtis and Gray both struck.
Loxwood were given a lifeline when John Hampson brought down Cave, who dispatched the penalty.
Michael Belli then handled in the penalty area on 90 minutes and Cave netted from the spot to grab a share of the spoils for Loxwood.
