Arundel Football Club cruised into the second round of the Sussex Senior Cup with a 6-0 win at home to division-lower St Francis Rangers on Tuesday evening.

Rory Biggs’ 40-yarder gave Mullets the lead after five minutes, before Harry Russell made it 2-0 midway through the first half.

Biggs got his second on 34 minutes and Barney Boutwood then made it 4-0 on 68 minutes. Bradley Lewis and Russell, with his second, then struck in the last five minutes.

Mullets joint boss Barry Pidgeon said: “We played really well having lost our previous three games and it’s a good win for our confidence.”
