WICK & BARNHAM United Football Club boss Jon Tucker believes his side will face a tough challenge when they host Mile Oak in County League Division 2 on Saturday.
Oak are currently fifth in the table and have not tasted defeat since November, so Tucker is aware of their danger.
He said: “Mile Oak are always a very difficult side to play against and I’m sure Saturday will be no different.
“They are unbeaten since November and we know that if we are to take all three points we are going to need to be at our best.
“But we are at full strength for a number of weeks and I am confident that we can take all three points in this one.”
Wick are currently third place in Division 2 and are six points behind table-toppers Worthing United with a game in hand.
Tucker is hoping his side can claim the league title come the end of the year and added: “The aim for us is to try to finish as high as we possibly can.
“We know it is going to to be a tough test, with Worthing United going well.
“But if we can continue to apply pressure on them hopefully they will slip up and we can capitalise on that.”
