A NUMBER of today’s Sussex County League football matches have already been postponed owing to waterlogged piches.

In Division 1, Littlehampton’s home game with Lancing and Shoreham’s home match with Selsey have both been postponed.

East Preston’s home match with Loxwood had been called off earlier in the week, owing to the six-foot deep hole which caused EP’s game with Littlehampton to be abandoned last Saturday.

Arundel are due to travel to Selsey this afternoon.

In Division 2, Wick & Barnham United’s match at Midhurst is off, as is Rustington versus Oakwood, Storrington against Little Common and Worthing United versus Steyning Town.

There is a pitch inspection planned for Seaford against Mile Oak.

In Division 3, Southwick versus Ferring has also been postponed, while Clymping are due to travel to Burgess Hill & Hurst Albion.

In the Ryman League, Worthing’s South Division home game with East Grinstead has a 11am pitch inspection.
