LOCAL rivals East Preston and Littlehampton football clubs meet in the extra-preliminary round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

The game kicks-off at 3pm at The Lashmar and Littlehampton player-manager George Gaskin said: “It’s always nice to play in the FA Cup.

“This game will have that extra edge as we play our local rivals EP.

“Hopefully, a good crowd will be at the ground and we can reach the next round.

“EP have built a new side but we know this will not be an easy game for us and we have to be at our best.

“Playing in this competition gives you that extra edge as a player.

“The aim is to get past this stage and try to progress as far as we can.

“If we can win, it will be a massive boost for the side.”

Prior to that, Arundel and Wick & Barnham United are both in FA Cup action on Saturday (3pm).

Mullets entertain Raynes Park Vale of the Combined Counties League Premier Division and Wick & Barnham travel to another Combined Counties League Premier Division side, Horley Town.
