THERE was frustration for Arundel and Wick & Barnham United football clubs on Tuesday as their cup games were both postponed owing to waterlogged pitches.
Mullets were due to entertain Midhurst & Easebourne in the last 16 of the Sussex RUR Cup but the match was called off for a third time.
The game is now set to take place on Tuesday, with the winners travelling to Lancing in the quarter-finals.
Wick were set to travel to Hailsham in the last eight of the Peter Bentley Cup on Tuesday and the winners will meet Arundel or Eastbourne Town in the semi-finals.
Mullets host County League leaders Town in that quarter-final clash on Saturday and boss Simon Butler said: “They are a good side but we are not playing badly ourselves.
“In cup competitions, you will come up against good sides, so we’ll just go out and give it our all.”
Wick are at home to Mile Oak in County League Division 2 on Saturday.
Arundel’s reserve side travel to Newtown Villa in the third round of the Sussex Intermediate Cup on Saturday, with a 1.30pm kick-off.
