ALBION manager Gus Poyet is urging his side to keep their concentration as their Championships play-off bid picks up pace.
The Seagulls are unbeaten in the league in 2012, and Poyet admitted: “We can win every game. We are on a great run, which means there can be no excuses about lack of confidence.
“We have to play each game as it comes and stay concentrated until the end of the season. It’s about going out and trying to win every game, not just playing for a draw, and if can we do that then we will have a great chance of the play-offs.
“But we can’t think about the long-term at the moment. We need to adapt to each game and take it as it comes.”
Albion head to bottom-of-the-table Doncaster on Saturday and Poyet believes the strugglers are paying the price for too many personnel changes.
They are without a win in seven league games, and Poyet reckons lack of consistency is the cause of their poor form.
He said: “I think they have made too many changes and I am not only talking about the manager. I don’t know how many players they have used but I think it has been difficult for them because they haven’t had the same 11 that you need week-in, week-out, in order to be consistent and stay in the division.
“But we know that they have plenty of experience and individual quality, so I am sure if they click in their final 13 games they will be able to beat anyone.
“They are fighting for their lives at the moment and we know it will be a complicated game, more complicated than people are expecting it to be.
“Most people are thinking that we will go there and, because of the position we are in, that it will be easy for us. But it will not.”
Poyet has also hailed Manchester City duo Abdul Razak and Gai Assulin, who are on loan with the Seagulls.
He said: “They are two very young and very gifted players. Gai is incredible and makes the game look very easy, and, if we use him at the right time, he could have a massive impact on our season.
“Abdul is somebody that we were watching for a long time and, now that he’s here, we want him to keep learning and keep adapting his game. He has a great future.”
