ANGMERING Stoolball Club have won the Sussex League West Division title for the 12th successive year, and for a record 14th time.
They clinched the championship last Wednesday, with a 100 per cent record, when they defeated Horsham Trinity by 22 runs.

Angmering won all 14 of the league matches they played, and were awarded four more games when their opposition conceded the g
ame.

Horsham Trinity, who finished second, lost four of their 18 matches.

Angmering will now look to complete the Sussex quadruple for the fifth time.

They head to the Seaford Top Of The League tournament on Sunday, travel to Chiddingly in the KO Cup quarter-finals on Monday, then meet the North Division champions in the Championship semi-final at Nutley on August 24.

At Trinity, after being put into bat, Angmering scored 164, with 77 from Melissa Mantle and 48 from Karen Harmer.

Trinity then scored 142 with Gill Stoner's 24 their top score.
Leading wicket taker Kelly Finneran took three more, and Connie Chapman and LA Angels cricket captain, Hayley Shepperd, both held excellent catches.
