ARUNDEL Football Club, on Saturday, became the first side to win at champions Crowborough in the league this season.
They also stopped Crows from getting a County League record of 98 points (Crows needed to win), and stopped them from scoring 100 goals (they finished on 99).

Josh Biggs gave third-placed Mullets a fourth-minute lead, and Arundel then had penalty appeals for fouls on Howard Neighbour, and Scott Towers, waved away.

Andy Ducille equalised (30 mins), before Wes Tate (38 mins) lobbed Crows into the lead.

Biggs almost equalised (58 mins) before Rob Grove headed home Matt Huckett's corner a minute later.

Mullets keeper Ben O'Connor brilliantly denied Ross Treleaven shortly afterwards, before Arundel won with two goals in the last 12 minutes.
Huckett set up Biggs to make it 3-2, before Neighbour sealed the win four minutes into injury-time.

Arundel assistant manager Simon Butler said: "It was a really pleasing win, and things are looking good for next year.

"If we win on Saturday against Rye, we'll finish with more points than last season. And, we've now beaten both Whitehawk and Crowborough this season."

ARUNDEL: O'Connor; L.Walker, D.Walker, Hack, Hall; S.Towers, Wimbleton, Grove, Biggs; Matt Huckett, Neighbour. Subs: Goff (L.Walker 65, knne inj), Sutcliffe (Hall 67, ankle inj), Duncan.
