LETTER: Best wishes

On behalf of Woodlands Table Tennis Club, I should like to send our best wishes to Roger Green on his 60th birthday.

Roger has always been very keen on his table tennis and has a deep love of the sport.

It was Roger that put us in touch with the sport section of the Gazette which got us the write ups for our club.

Do enjoy your semi-retirement Roger and, with more spare time now available, maybe some extra time on the table for practice?

Secondly, we must congratulate The Vardar Restaurant on a great advert, now entering its fourth decade of business.

Loreta and Peter, along with the rest of the staff, always make you feel so welcome.

They go the extra mile to make sure your event goes smoothly and the food is so good, especially when having to cater for a large number of guests.

We have been going there for our events, such as our annual dinners and special birthdays, for a good many years now and have never been disappointed.

Deep admiration for Peter to get back to fitness after such a very serious accident.

Many congratulations to all at The Vardar.
