Brexit '“ accepting rules of democracy

I realise that some have difficulty in accepting the rules of democracy, but it is getting tiresome to keep reading about those who cannot accept the result of the referendum and the fact that Great Britain will be leaving the European Union.

It may be that only 39 per cent voted to leave the European Union but it was a smaller percentage who voted to stay in the European Union and, after 40 years of membership, to have only a third of the electorate supporting our membership of the European Union proves this country’s lack of faith and confidence in it and while A D Freeman of Worthing talks about a small majority, it was one and a quarter million.
