I WAS most annoyed to read about the costs of running the Windmill Entertainment Centre.
I would like to also mention the constant increases in rents for our beach huts, affecting us elderly residents whose only pleasure, when living in a flat, is a beach hut, protected from the wind and rain.
It seems everybody is on the grab, to make extra money from our limited services, here in Littlehampton.
We beach hut owners are forced to insure our little havens due to the risk of vandalism, in spite of the regular patrols by the police, who do keep an eye on our huts.
As for the Windmill, its activities are enjoyed by the young and old. It is time we had a re-think about where our council tax is going. It seems Inspire Leisure is doing very well. With the cost of living rising rapidly, I wonder if we do get value for money?
