AM I the only person who dreads driving north on the Angmering bypass and meeting the many idiots who come out of Water Lane in front of me with moments to spare?
Yet again, today, I have been behind a car that has virtually been sent into the central reservation to avoid hitting them.
I feel that Water Lane should be one-way, allowing cars from the Angmering bypass to go through the village. Most cars using Angmering village to get to Water Lane to get to the Angmering bypass are using it as a cut through from the A259, so the traffic through this village would possibly be cut if Water Lane did not allow them access to the bypass.
The bypass has a dreadful history of deaths in its short history and unfortunately, seven years ago I sat with a 17-year-old young man who had a head-on crash on the bypass and he died, so my concerns are genuine.
