Arun breakfast group founder will be in the spotlight

Margaret Lear

Margaret Lear

ONE of the founders of a monthly breakfast meeting for women will find herself in the spotlight this weekend.

Margaret Lear was a member of the Arun Community Church team which started up the Jabez breakfast meetings several years ago.

These days the name has changed from Jabez to Arise, but the concept is the same, a delicious breakfast served with an interesting speaker.

And it will be Margaret giving the talk on Saturday, May 12, at 8.45am at the Wickbourne Centre, Clun Road, Littlehampton.

Her subject is Extraordinary God and Margaret, who is married to Pip and has three children and five grandchildren, will be talking about her life as an ordinary woman with an ordinary life, but who knows an extraordinary God.

Describing herself as a once timid mouse, she says she longs to see women set free to achieve their potential in God.

The £5 charge is payable at the door and the first time is free.

Places must be booked, e-mail office@aruncommunitychurch.com or call the Arun Community Church Office on 01903 782744.
