UPDATED: Man arrested after fleeing crash scene involving mother and baby

A man has been arrested after fleeing the scene of a crash in Worthing last night (November 12), which involved a mother and baby.

The crash occured in Meredith Road, Worthing, at around 11.40pm and the man fled the scene.

A spokesman from Sussex Police confirmed the vehicle had overturned on its roof.

Emergency services were called to the collision and the mother and baby were treated by medics at the scene.
