Drivers faced delays this morning on a major route after three cars collided on the A27 at Falmer.
Two lanes on the eastbound carriageway were blocked at the B2123 junction earlier this morning (Thursday May 5).
Congestion was reported from Coldean Lane to the Ditchling Road junction.
However, the incident has been cleared and the lanes re-opened.
A police spokesman said: “At 8.35 on Thursday (5 May) three cars collided at the A27 Falmer slip road junction with the southbound B2123. The slip road lanes were closed for about 25 minutes. There were two minor injuries not requiring hospital attendance. The incident is now closed and no other relevant information is recorded.”
