TRAVEL: Signalling fault causing rail disruption

A signalling fault between Worthing and Littlehampton is expected to disrupt trains until the end of the day.

A spokesperson for Network Rail said services running to and from Littlehampton ‘may be cancelled or delayed’ and problems are expected to continue until the end of service today.

Some London services will be amended to terminate at West Worthing and start from Worthing Central to avoid major train queues at Littlehampton.

Passengers travelling to or from Littlehampton are advised to travel via Barnham, changing at Barnham for London services via Horsham, changing at Barnham and at Worthing for London services via Haywards Heath.
