Police appeal after Littlehampton road rage assault

A WOMAN in Littlehampton was assaulted following a suspected road rage attack, police have said this afternoon (Monday, April 16).

The incident took place in North Ham Road, at about 6.15pm, on Wednesday, April 4.

The victim and the offender were in separate vehicles when a verbal disagreement took place between them. The offender then hit the victim, causing a cut to the woman’s head.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the assault to come forward.

A police spokeswoman said: “The woman who assaulted the victim has been described as white and aged in her late teens to early 20s. She was in a green Peugeot 207 which had ‘for sale’ signs in the windows.

“If anyone recognises the car, or has information about the assault, then we would ask them to contact police on 101, quoting serial 1354 of 4 April.”
