COMPUTER programmers of the future were getting to grips with all things cyberspace on Thursday.
A total of 16 children, aged between nine and 11, put down their school books and picked up their laptops to take part in the first Code Club at the Angmering Community Centre, in Foxwood Avenue.
The free initiative is part of a national scheme to teach children the basics of computer programming.
It is hoped this will help address the glut of talent faced by the industry.
The session was organised by the community centre and was led by computer expert and web designer, Stuart Hutchinson.
