PENSIONERS and eligible disabled people living in Arun have been reassured about their free bus passes being renewed.
Arun District Council, which administers the concessionary fares scheme in this area, says people need not worry about their passes being renewed, as they will be sent out automatically just before the five-year period expires.
People should contact the council only if their new pass fails to turn up, and to call 01903 737655 if this happens.
Arun is also asking passholders to make sure they let the council know if they change their address, so the replacement pass can be delivered to the correct property.
Passes can be used on local bus services after 9.30am, Monday to Friday, and any time at weekends or bank holidays. Disabled passes can be used at all times.
