Stunning afternoon of floral fun in East Preston

DOZENS of people joined an afternoon of summer fun in East Preston.

The East Preston and Kingston Horticultural Society hosted its annual summer show at the village hall, in Sea Road, last week, with the rain just about holding off.

Primrose Buckley, show secretary, said: “We didn’t have so many people this year but the displays were all of really good quality.

“It was a very successful show. We did have a few drops of rain but everyone thought it was going to be much worse. So it was a relief this was all we had.”
