POLICE have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a series of armed robberies in West Sussex.

Liam Newman, 30, of no fixed address, has links to addresses and associates in Worthing, Lancing, Southwick and Shoreham.

These are all places where robberies have occurred at betting agencies, shops and takeaways in recent weeks.

Police are advising anyone who knows where he is staying or places that he may frequent not to approach him but to report any sightings to them.

This can be done by emailing 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phoning 101, quoting Operation Radar. In an emergency, dial 999 and ask for the police.

Alternatively, call independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
