Police said shortly after 3am on Monday, two masked intruders broke into Sainsbury’s supermarket in High Street, Littlehampton, and stole various brands of cigarettes from a tobacco kiosk within the store.

Alarms were triggered and it is believed the thieves got in and out by forcing a fire exit that opens onto a side road at the rear of The Crown public house.
