Have your say

HOW was your three-day weekend, Chipsters?

Did you see or hear the big news? No, not that an American vet says that cats can talk to humans in their own way. I reckon that’s a load of nonsense! I’m talking about the birth of a princess! There was a lot of excitement surrounding it on the news.

I was watching it on television with my mum. The royals had announced that there was going to a new member of the family and it seemed like the country was going bonkers about it.

The streets were lined with people waving flags and wearing red, white and blue. The woman on TV was running around like a headless chicken, trying to talk to as many people as possible. She must have been exhausted, Chipsters!

Young people, old people, people from all over the world... it seemed like everybody was there to show their support.Eventually, it was announced that a little girl had been born.

The cameras showed Prince William arriving at hospital with his son, George, so the little prince could meet his sister. It all look a bit much for the little guy with so many people watching and waving at him. Still, I suppose he’ll get used to it.

Later on, the news said they’d named the new princess Charlotte. That’s a nice name.

What would you say is a good name for a prince a princess? Maybe your name would sound good?

Personally I like the sound of Prince Chipper... Or, better yet, King Chipper! What do you think?!

Chip chip for now!
