Concerns have been raised that plans for a mobile home site in Littlehampton do not go far enough ensure local water supply is not tainted.

Arun District Council released a planning application it received to install seven permanent mobile homes and an office in Old Mead Road, across from Torri Nursery.

But Margaret Madron, who lives in Old Mead Road, raised an objection to the application.

She is concerned plans to have waste water run into a drainage ditch are not hygienic, insisting the site must be connected to the main drain which she says is 200ft away.

Members of the public can view more applications and make comments on the council website.
