Watch out for new UFOs in Goring

THERE will be strange lights on Goring Greensward tomorrow (Sunday, February 1).

But it won't be UFOs lighting up the night sky, it will be Chinese lanterns.

At 5pm tomorrow, there will be 50 lanterns released, one for every 10 people helped by Worthing Churches Homeless Projects during 2008.

The lanterns are being sponsored by people for 10 each, to go towards the charity's work in the town.

Sue Stevens, PR and fund-raising manager, said: "We decided to hold this event to highlight the number of clients we work with each year, but also as a mark of gratitude for the donations that we receive either in goods, money or time."

If you are interested in finding out more about the charity's work visit www.wchp.org.uk.
