AN EVENT at Arundel Castle will be getting the engines of the area’s petrolheads revving.
The castle is playing host to the Chichester MG Owner’s Club, gathering on Sunday (April 13).
The meeting will see more than 150 stunning MGs descend on the castle’s lower lawns, forming a striking display of vintage cars against the picturesque backdrop of the 15th century site.
Members of Chichester MG Owner’s Club will be proudly displaying their vehicles, with a wide range of models on show from late 1920s designs to modern day MGF sports models.
To further delight classic car aficionados, Arundel Castle will also welcome the Classic Corvette Club UK later this year, on July 5.
Castle manager Bryan McDonald said: “We are delighted to be playing host to these two classic car events – they add a real twist to the castle’s historical events calendar.
“It is lovely to see so many visitors thrilled by the opportunity to come face to face with such beautiful vehicles, as well as seeing the enthusiasm that each car owner exudes.
“These events are great family days out and we look forward to seeing you there.”
