THOUSANDS flocked into Littlehampton’s High Street to mark the start of the town’s festive season and witness the Christmas lights being switched on.
And as this year’s bonanza kicked-off on Friday evening (November 29), there was an extra-special present for one Littlehampton boy, who was the guest of honour at the event.
Reece Newman, 12, was invited by organisers to press the plunger turning on the illuminations. He was the first resident in the town to have been given the honour.
