TWO separate accidents on the A27 eastbound this morning are causing delays of around 40 minutes.
At 7.28am police were called to a crash at the junction of the A27 and the A2038 at Hangleton in which a car struck the central reservation.
It caused a build-up of traffic and a second crash at the rear of this build-up was then reported to police some 10 minutes later.
Police were called to the accident just beyond the Shoreham flyover, where two cars, both Citroens, travelling in the same direction had collided.
There were no injuries but one vehicle was left blocking the outside lane, causing traffic delays of around 40 minutes.
Police are still handling the incident.
